Love the way LSU is going after all these fired rejects. How about plucking some really good ones off "Elite" programs instead of reaching down to the bottom of the barrell for the leftovers........

How in the hell can the defensive line coach for the Chicago Bears be considered a bottom of the barrel reject? I don't get that line of reasoning.

You're an idiot...
Chavis is no reject, he's a top DC from the SEC with a ton of experience and extreme loyalty.
Cooper is another top coach and recruiter and a much better hire at his position than anyone mentioned on this board. He's been a head coach and great for overall image.
The DL coach will be fine whichever way it goes... If its Haley, thats not bad, he has NFL and SEC experiense and has connections throughout the South.
One thing of interest with all of these guys is that they all have connections with the state of Alabama... maybe ole Les is sending Nicky Satan a message as well

I've noticed on several other threads that posts by TBA82 are usually followed by replies like "you're an idiot", "what a douche", "hurry up, the short bus is waiting", etc.

And, FWIW, I wouldn't say that Chavis was "fired". Fulmer left and UT brought in the Kiffins as a package deal. Saying that he was "fired" implies that he sucked, which was most certainly not the case. Other than Haley, none of these guys were fired.
