His interest level is a moot point.
He has an extremely solid contract and an owner that's more likely to retire then let a coach go.

Tommy was offered a 10 year 35 million dollar deal yesterday with the UA paying the buyout. There are some in the AU administration and 2 powerful boosters that do not want Tommy anymore because of various issues, not only football related. Tommy is holding out for more money, not just for himself but for his assistants who many will come with him. Today Tommy and Long reached a tentative agreement that will pay Tommy 3.75 million a year for 10 years with more money coming to him if he wins the SEC and/or NC among various other incentives. Tommy is not represented by Sexton. Sexton serves as his advisor only. Tommy made this deal himself with Sexton's help as an advisor and AU gave AR permission to talk to him according to Tommy's contract which made him ask permission.
There you have it.
Tommy is the next coach of the University of Arkansas. Official announcement will be made on Sunday.
