That's how I see it. He wanted this job 4 years ago, and he was never offered. He always took shots at LSU in particularly BK whenever he could because he was upset that Woodward chose him.

Four years later, here we are again. Lane never thought he would be where he is with Ole Miss, but he know that there's a chance he may never get another shot at this. That's why it's weighing so much on him. And it's understandable.
