Half of the guys in charge at Tech want Ruffin and the other half want to spend the big bucks on a hotshot coach, be it Smart, Tuberville or Kevin Sumlin at Houston. Right now it looks like Ruffin. As a Tech fan I'd like to hire Sumlin and keep Ruffin as D-coordinator.
