Who on earth confirmed this? There is an open lawsuit against him. Why do you think Kiffin took so much heat for hiring him at FAU?

i hope you like 7 yard out routes and frick the middle of the field if you hire sterling gilbert. hes a drastic change from what you had though.

This actually sounds VERY familiar, no matter who has called the offense for the last nine years. 2013 was the lone exception.

I like Briles’ use of the power spread system better, but Gilbert would be a solid “consolation prize.” He won’t abandon the run game and will keep us balanced, just with a fresher approach than we had before Canada. I’m glad to hear he is getting a look, because I think our offense could transition to his system pretty easily.

Briles and Gilbert run the SAME system. Idk why y’all are talking like they’re different. You really can’t have differing opinions on the two. It’s the same Veer and Shoot Offense. Pound the rock, invite the extra safety, and utilize the mismatch on the perimeter. Also use the Screen game with the numbers advantage while using sideline to sideline spacing of the WRs. That’s the offense

But no problem with being associated with the Duke scandal. Or hiring convicted felons. My how selective we are.

No, but based on the fact that no one has been able to implicate any of the coaches from any of the previous allegations, the chances of this coming back to Kendall are low.

Still, our glorious admin doesn't want to risk it, being a bunch of cowards that lack the testicular fortitude to pull the trigger.

Here's whats going to happen next: We're going to make our OC hire within the next week. We may have some success with it, we may not. Meanwhile KB is going to get picked up by another SEC school within the next couple years, I'll guess somewhere in the SEC West. Their offense is going to absolutely take off, and as far as the allegations go, they will go away quietly; nothing is going to happen.

There seems to be a trend here and past history backs this statement up.

this is what i am afraid of because in 2 years i bet Bama's OC goes back to the pros or gets another job and of course we will then have to face him every year when he could have been on our staff the entire time....

gosh i hate this pussy arse administration we have
