Said that Les said he's LSU's coach until further notice.

well, he left a lot of waggle room there.
"he's the LSU coach until further notice."
"he's the LSU coach until further notice."

He said that's his understanding. Seems to me he didn't hear it either.

well these guys are all over the place. Thought he told them "I will be the coach next year"

didn't the guys ask him to tell them what he said, and he said they are rumors and he hasn't talked to Michigan

Just because he says the rumors are not true does not mean he won't make them true tomorrow.

he hasn't talked to them yet. that's all we can take from this. I believe that. It doesn't mean he won't.

Technically, until he signs the contract with Michigan, he's LSU's coach. Les is smart in how he's playing this.
If his agent is in negotiations and things don't work out, he is in great position at LSU. If he came out and said he's leaving he loses a lot of leverage on both ends.
Les may bumble through interviews at times, but the man is quite intelligent.

Im not sure if he confirmed anything. Some plays said Miles told them he will be back , others saying that was their understanding

That is very similar to what Jefferson was actually quoted as saying that Miles told them. Paraphrasing doesn't work here.
What some are missing is that Miles in no way said that he WOULD be here next year, and that he was not going to Michigan. "until further notice" is the key phrase.
Miles will hear UM out before he makes a decision. He's being classy and honorable to his team like Harbaugh did at the Orange Bowl. Post-game is not the time for selfishness; it's time for team focus and celebration.

Exactly. Les

As a technical coach, Les is not my favorite. But, more importantly, as a human being, I admire how he behaves, especially with these impressionable young men.

Les is a good guy. He's trying to do this the right way. I respect him for that.
Only thing is LSU needs to be reasonable in how they handle it. They should NOT do this like they did in 2007 and handcuff themselves.
