Tell the agents for Jimbo and Herman they are our choices and we will pay $8 mil. You also tell the agents that you've made the offer to the other guy and that you would be happy with either. I would be willing to bet at least one of them would take it.
But we have Alleva trying to save money instead of paying these guys what it will take to get them here. We're gonna end up with someone disappointing.

Dude, Jimbo got an offer that would make him the third highest paid coach in CFB. Only Saban(the guy with 5 national championships) and Harbaugh(took an NFL team to the SB) would make more.

If we don't get Jimbo it's because we didn't offer him enough money. Don't be surprised if FSU counters with nearly what we are offering and he stays. I could care less if we pay him as much or more than Saban. He's the best possible coach we can get. We're gonna end up with another Miles hire.

Nah. How many times we been around this. I have 0 faith in LSU admin in closing any deal they don't pay out the arse for. None.
