I'm not suggesting we lower our recruiting standards. What I'm saying is that you don't have to recruit vis-à-vis to the same level Bama does to be successful offensively vs them.

Only that we change our O style to something like what OM runs. Our D, that style O - kill Bama --> Championships! Td-da.

I know and agree there are concerns with Jimbo...but making an offense function is not one of them. I thought a spread like hermans would be a better chance at beating bama. And maybe it is.

But after contemplating this..You realize the only teams that beat Bama get excellent QB play.

There is no QB coach obtainable that's better than jimbo. Heck, there might not be one better at all.
