Chavis went into detail about the type of defense he’s going to run at LSU and it seems to be a little different than the one the Tigers ran this past season.



“He (Chavis) talked about the different coverages he’s going to run and they’re going to play a lot of Cover four,” said Jackson. “They’re going to put their corners on an island and let them handle their own more so than bringing the safeties up to help.



“The safeties are going to help on the posts and towards the middle of the field, but he says he needs corners that are physical enough to be out there and not need a lot of help. He said they’re going to play more bump and run with the corners where they press more.”
