It may sound crazy,but I don’t see a melt on the horizon

It seems like the worst we could do is Napier. I mean,according to the “insiders” ,and common sense , we know he would take the job.
I think we know woody likes him if what’s been said is true.
If Napier’s the worst we could do, then I think we could see a non-melt situation for the first time in history.
If the numbers are true then we can’t be pissed at woody for his effort . It’s hard to melt if you can’t point the finger at someone

I think you’re right on that. I’m still saying it’s going to be Riley though. I won’t give up on that one until an OU official has announced that they and Riley have agreed to an extension/raise. Even then I think Woodward comes back stronger before moving on to others.

Even if OU were to announce it, that doesn't mean it is signed, just saying.
OU could very well propose its best and final to Riley, get his attention, then leak it to seal the deal only for SW to up the ante to Riley.
SW may or may ink the deal with Riley, because prying a top 5 coach from a true blue blood has never happened, but it won't be because he's outmaneuvered.
