I think the candidate has been contacted since the Alabama game, maybe even sooner.

I think they had a plan in place last year if Miles got the Michigan job.

Part of the problem with the DC position was the DC had to come in and work with the existing staff. This will not be a requirement for the new coach. However, the new coach would be wise to retain Frank, Be Be, and Corey.
