The 10-0 loss to what some were saying is Saban's best Alabama team put's an exclamation point on the fact that LSU is NOT a rebuilding job. The right coach can win right away. Intelligent people already knew that, but it was confirmed. That weighs in LSU's favor when you consider there will be competition for the guys on the short list.

I've been saying this all along as it pertains to Herman going to Texas or LSU. He'll be expected to rebuild a flailing Texas program as where he can walk in day 1 and compete for championships at LSU. It we lose 10-0 with an incompetent OC and INTERIM HC, what do you think happens if we have an offensive guru as the HC?

There were no in game adjustments to the offense and it was completely obvious there was no back-up plan if Plan A didn't work. It was like watching a Miles run offense all over again. It the same book, different chapter. Time for a new book.

I think Texas is on the upswing with their last two recruiting classes. That said there is no doubt LSU is the stronger program right now.
