Charlie Weiss was getting around $5M per season, IIRC, and that was before they hired Kelly.
0% chance Kelly was only making $2.5M. Probably something like a base of $2.5M plus massive bonuses.

The smooth brains are clutching at straws. I’ve seen people claim we paid 3x, 4x, and 5x as much money as he was making when in reality we gave him likely a 1-2 mil bump
