So say the Saban thing has legs, what were we saying about Saban over the last few months.

Still too conservative with a lead
Burned his pro connection (talent will always find a home in the NFL)
Looks worn out…lost his spark
Can’t put a top line staff together (no one wants to work under his tirades)
Sold his soul for $
Played DJ Hall after supposedly suspending him, no morals
Too much baggage with the LSU to Miami to Bama trail
Target of the national media for 911 comments etc.
ULM’s bitch
…what else?

IF he did want to come back and we did hire him, all this comes with him plus the added “s@#$” that will be piled on him for doing "that" to Bama. Of course LSU fans will explain that away as a Bama thing, but the rest of the sports world won’t. Will it be easier to put together a staff here? Will he not be conservative? Will he and in turn LSU just have a huge bull’s-eye on its back for the next 10+ years and be called out for every little thing. Will we all scream media bias? 2003 was great, but there were some equally rough years around it. Will we better off?

I'll give you a quote from Point Break that will sum this up for you.

"He's not coming back"

keano reeves says this to the austrailian police when he lets swazie (sp) go at the end.
