He got Mind to go in the 3rd round. That should be on his resume as well

Let's face the reality, neither Nuss or Howard fit what Jimbo looks for in his QB's. Thats a fact, just look at his recruiting history everywhere he's been.

Jimbo runs a Pro Style system, Nuss and Howard are Pro Style quarterbacks. What the frick are you talking about they don’t fit what he wants

what has he really developed in terms of QB's

dameyune craig
booty
davey
mauck
j rock
matt flynn
ponder
manuel
winston
jake coker

ask jake coker is he is any good. coker played for jimbo before transferring to bama.

other than craig, all played in NFL and 4 were first rounders.

i love these comments from the football ignorant crowd here.

What are you Napier homers going to do when he crashes and burns at LSU like Scott Frost and Tom Herman at Nebraska and Texas?

And what would you do if he doesn't?

This makes no sense. Most qbs under Jimbo were not dual threat qbs. Winston didn’t run. Russel ran when he had to. Same with mond. Ponder wasn’t dual threat.

I don’t get all the hate for jimbo. He has turned a&m into a team when they were an afterthought. They were 5th last year in the playoff rankings and many thought they should have gotten in. They lost their qb this year and have turned it around after the initial struggle.

FSU was more about admin lack of commitment which is why he left. Facilities and pay for staff was not good.

We could do worse. And he has more qualifications then many of the other top candidates thrown out their by posters.

I certainly would put him above Napier and Aranda and tucker.

Most of those quarterbacks listed are crash and burn NFL bust. I understand there’s a difference in a great college quarterback or a solid NFL quarterback none of those on that list are or were NFL solid ‘backup’ quarterbacks, OK exception Jameis Winston average at best on him.
