I am a little scared that we might end up with a guy like Pelini. But if we lose Miles and can pull in a guy like Patterson it is a huge win. GIve him LSU's talent and the results would be scary.

Oh c'mon. There is no evidence that Patterson is a possibility. Indeed, Patterson has had several chances to leave Ft Worth and never has. Not saying it won't happen but let's not try to rationalize losing the winningest coach in LSU history with a pipe dream.

Why would Patterson want to leave? He's fixing to become an automatic qualifier when TCU joins the Big East and he'll pretty much have the run of the conference.

there is a zero percent chance. the reality is were probably gonna get someone who seems beneath us, who is completely underwhelming, and it will be in large part bc of dickheads who cried about the way Miles won 10 games a year.
