So am I.

But you give me $100m, and after a few years, at age 57, I'm probably wondering if it's worth it to continue busting my arse for 18 hours a day, especially when it feels like that effort isn't successful (or maybe even appreciated) any more.

That's the human nature part.

The funny thing is TAMU could have gotten Jimbo with just a moderate raise and contract. He was looking to leave Tallahassee as soon as the Candi thing broke in 2014 and FSU wasn't exactly going to get into a bidding war over him. Wildly overpaying him and locking him in for a frickin decade wasn't just insane, it was totally unnecessary
