I think it’s a done deal. Lane is coming. He’s not staying. If he was, he would’ve already signed and it would be announced.

Once Lane announces he's OM 4 Life... LSU will announce they haven't made any official offers and are continuing their extensive search for the best qualified candidate for the HC position.
Real world talk.... Lane didn't want to LSU job and the drama. LSU's search always starts with filtering their list of names sorted by "least expensive" first.
