Not just for LSU, but for any college team to land Gruden? And yes that is assuming he would be interested in taking a college job. Just curious, if Miles may be getting a raise I was just wondering how much Gruden would be worth to someone?

the only way for gruden to come in and live up to his own hype, would be for him to go 28-0 in the first 2 seasons and have an average margin of victory of 50 pts

Apparently in Miami it wasn't about entirely about money.
I think a $5-$6 million dollar salary would be enough for him to listen. However, according to some reports, he wanted his brother to be the head coach in waiting, which could mean that he uses a university for two years, bolts to the NFL, and leaves behind a totally unproven coach.

I figured it would not take much more that the $5 million range to get into some serious talks. Only way I would want to sign him would be with a huge buyout clause so he wouldn't just up and bolt on you. I just think if we have the access of 5 million a year to pay a coach then we shouldn't be too worried about miles leaving. I want him to stay, we could land a very good coach for somewhere in that money range IMO
