How much of decision should be track record vs. interview, plan, philosophy and fit?

All that those commenting on the new coach on this board could know is track record, which is on part of the decision. So, why don't they let those in the know do their job without constant criticism.

It's track record and familiarity, pertaining to the AD, not familiarity with fans.
