2011 proved that a coach on the edge of losing it can still hit on a winner with the right players and dominance on one side of the ball. Malzahn at Auburn in 2013 and again this year is another good example.

However, after thinking things had changed in 2011 and finding out later that it was just an aberration, I’m not going to get fooled again. Any fool could see the disfunction this season. Orgeron is NOT CAPABLE of running a big-time P5 program in a professional manner. He just isn’t.

So if he has a great season, it won’t win me over because I know that it won’t change anything in the end. He will fail. Disfunction isn’t an accident. It’s a symptom of poor leadership. Ultimately, that only ends in one result.
