Rich Rod to get another job?

I would guess he will have another job by Monday at the latest. He will be offered another job by then at the very least.

48 Hours or so would not surprise me.

Depending on how you swing, I think LSU fans are lucky or unlucky that the LSU game is not until Friday. This may be the one thing keeping Les Miles at LSU. I am not a fan of Les Miles but if he leaves I don't see it as being a good thing for LSU at this point in time.

I think Pitt is a solid option but does Pitt want to run that type of offense (it would be a complete re-building job) & Rich Rod has some baggage now and the Pitt AD would have to eat his words after firing the new coach so fast. I understand RR baggage do not compare to the felony case against the other guy but it still matters.

I would bet that if Pitt hired Rich Rod the old coach Haywood (or Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton) would find a way to turn things against them in the public. Dumb yes, would I be surprised - not at all.

It was the Big East but the Big East was not nearly as terrible then as they are now.
Pitt, Louisville and Rutgers were all legit for stretches in 2001-2007.

It is the Big East, but it was better back then than it is now by far.

And have been doing so for two years. I cannot understand the idea of a Rich Rod, Leach, et al as HC OR OC of LSU. People are funny.
