If he doesn't change DCs, THIS YEAR, he's in trouble.

If, according to the comments in the link, this comes true, then that would be absolutely astounding and totally out of character with our coach.

But, it would definitely be worth considering. And if it is true, then silence at this time is definitely golden.

This is obviously a difficult situation for Miles due to relationships etc. I also understand him not wanting to flame his current coaches publicly and allowing them to move on while remaining professional. My question is how good of an idea is it to keep some or all the defensive coaches on the recruiting trail when they either know they may possibly lose their jobs or will lose their jobs. What is their motivation to recruit at this point if they know or suspect they won't be here next year. How can these coaches sell the program if they are leaving and may be bitter about it.

Another thing. There could be some very qualified candidates that would contact Miles if an actual position is made available by letting these clowns go rather than Miles going behind the scenes contacting people on his own.

quote:

1.) are you now, or have you ever been a high-level college football recruit?

Why do you think you have any idea what these young men are thinking and considering overall?

2.) Chances are your "common sense" isn't really the basis for where an 18 year old kid decides to spend his college career.

3.) Recruiting is fine, hasn't shifted in the past month, and will likely only improve on NSD.

1. Maybe I was, maybe I wasn't. Doesn't take a genius to figure out the safer choice for a player to make between a school with a stable good DC vs one with an unknown DC or a poor DC.

2. ...not worthy a response

3. And how are things going with McFarland? Exactly...

NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE. YOU BUNCH OF CLABBER HEADS. Where are the 5 coaches and the contracts that were signed over the weekend and the Sonny Ship wink wink shite. Miles is not going to change anything.
