Well only one of us is acting like a female, sooooo

And I've been on the coaching board for a while. Ive read all their posts.

Especially the "I was being sarcastic"..."all that glitters is not gold...." all he has said, literally, he threw out some contract figures (that are common knowledge), and that there will be media buzz for other coaches but it is Jimbo. So my question, AGAIN, how do you know all the Herman talk is a smokescreen and it's not real?

I love this board and it's as addicting as meth.

Still trying to decide who is worse:

1. The attention whores who need the spotlight of being the ones breaking news based on texts they're allegedly getting from inside the war room.

2. The equally attention starved douchebags who need the spotlight for being the ones who prove that alleged insiders are frauds.

This shite kills me.

This thread is absolutely embarrassing. I really hope the LSU fanbase isn't this fricking immature.

DALSU obviously knows people very close to LSU admin. He knew the Herman thing before anyone.

9458 - just give up dude, you're not going to be popular and it's obvious that's what you're seeking here. You were wrong. You said it's still Jimbo. Do you stand by that?

you know NOTHING about me (sort of like people such as yourself and 9458 don't know the minds of others). I want anything other than Les. I really don't care that much, but yea, I do think Herman has much more upside than Jimbo.

What do you mean, know nothing about you? I knew you were a Herman homer. Thus, the only reason you don't care for 9458's info is because he still says that Fisher is a done deal as opposed to DA and Random who say it is Herman. Nonetheless, 9458 made a lot of predictions when he first posted 4 days ago and everything he has said, which includes far more than just Jimbo being a done deal, has been 100 percent accurate so far. Indeed, 9458 has even said some things above and beyond what DA and Random has said would happen, but nonetheless everything he has said would happen has happened just as he said it would happen. So you can be a Herman homer all you want, but Herman isn't going to be LSU's next coach, especially when you learn via the Internet that it was Herman's camp that leaked the info that LSU made Herman an offer.

Right now, the leadership at Texas consists of a president, Greg Fenves, with an engineering background who knows nothing about sports. He's suddenly getting advice from University of Texas system chancellor, William H. McRaven, a four-star Navy admiral once considered a candidate for Hillary Clinton's cabinet. The athletic director is Mike Perrin, a former trial lawyer the university brought in to soothe feelings after Steve Patterson's ugly ouster in 2015. All are inordinately bright men who are decorated and accomplished in their fields. But the problem here is that none of those fields is collegiate athletics. "Not confident in the process," said a high ranking Texas official earlier this week. "You have an admiral, an engineer and a lawyer in charge. Nobody has ever hired a football coach."

Interesting article that backs up the UT admins are struggling with their situation.

I think he repeated a few times, "yes"

after reading the tea leaves, I am back in the "It's Jimbo and it's always been Jimbo" camp

LSU 24/7 is so quiet it's like they know they have to keep the lid down...

The whole world is talking about Herman to LSU except LSU's reporters....

Something is up...."ya think?"

see that's my point, not a Herman homer so you lose all credibility.

Full disclosure, I was TeamO until that shitshow from the Florida game. I'm actually an adult so I don't let me having a favorite blind me. And sorry, 9458 gets threads whack so i can't look at every post. However, you are grossly exaggerating the magnitude of what he is "right" about. Many of what he has said has no end so he can't come close to being "100% correct"

I just got off of shift work and overtime and slept all day up until the start of the LSU game. In fact, I slept too much and I'm not even remotely sleepy yet. Indeed, I'm thinking about staying up all day to get back to a normal schedule.

Proven to be above average, yes. He had 2 great years, other than that he is Les Miles in the ACC. He has lost at least 3 games in more than half of his coaching career...and he's in a weaker conference...and his team has more talent than everyone else. So why is Jimbo now going to be 11-1 or better?

Regardless, the point is, your homerism for Jimbo is making you look like a crazy person.

Well for one thing, per various sites on the Internet, it was Herman's camp that leaked the info that LSU had made Herman an offer. Hence, they are obviously trying to use LSU's offer as leverage.
