I can't see anyone from the AD's office contacting Les at this point, even indirectly. My guess is influential alumni/boosters have initiated contact though.

All this stuff is done behind the scenes with agents for the coaches and headhunters for the universities. Thus giving coaches and univ complete deniablity.
Thus a coach can say I have not talk to such and such school and the school can do the same. However the coach's agent and headhunters are all this time acting as intermediaries and hammering out a bargain.
