Have been working phones for last 90 minutes...
Have guy from bayoubengalsinsider that has confirmed from three players that Miles told team after game that he was staying at LSU and not going to Michigan...Fordham, Shepard, Mathieu

Writer from bayoubengalsinsider.com that attended postgame press conference on Miles says up front, it's not about me, it's about the players, and he's had no contact with Michigan. Other questions on Michigan shot down by Miles.

"everyone wants to be first and have the big scoop" - all they can say is what they know he told the team based on what the players said, and what they've heard from LSU officials. LSU fully expects Michigan to come to Miles tomorrow, but nothing done tonight based on what they know.

It sounds like Miles has really not had any contact with UM but everyone expects one they make contact he will go.

I think this is some what true except somehow Michigan knows not to contact Miles while his LSU team has a game to play.

Hanagriff says two things in play:
1. Contract renegotiation coming up, including rollover
2. Miles has great affection for Michigan and doesn't want to embarrass them. Here he'd rather Michigan go out and hire a coach and not have to have him publicly spurn them.
Of course, Michigan may come here tomorrow and make him an offer he can't refuse.

Gordy - Kleinpeter from Times-Pic quotes Jordan Jefferson as saying Miles is staying and not going to Michigan.
LSU official is reporting Miles has not been contacted and wasn't going to talk about the Michigan thing tonight because he didn't want to take anything away from the win tonight.

Barksdale - nothing said tonight about Michigan, but told the team last night and this morning and said he was staying and not going to Michigan.
