Living in Destin, Mobile and La., I have heard him speak out of both sides of his mouth depending on who he is talking to. Typical Warner. Its more about him then anything else.

Guilbeau talks out of both sides of his mouth. After the near-fiasco at the end of the Tennessee game he talked about Miles as if he were the village idiot, and now he says that LSU will be in the BCSCG next year? IF Miles does stay at LSU and some of those near-implosions turn into full-blown catastrophes and losses, watch GG jump ship and start berating Miles mercilessly!

Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't think a love of Bo and Meeghigan will be enough for Miles to take the job. Guys turn down their Alma mater and dream jobs all the time when the situation isn't right, and I don't think the situation in Michigan is right at this point. Whoever takes it over has the deck stacked against them and has a major rebuilding job in front of them. Balance that against a team poised to compete for a national championship. I think he stays.

That's not my point; I'm talking about the fact that Guilbeau has jumped on and off the Miles bandwagon so much, he probably has specially made shoes with springs in them!

i'm a miles backer and i gave him a hard time after that one. he's not above criticism if you like him.
that's what's funny about this whole thing. anti miles never ever give him credit, pro miles never the blame.
that being said i still chalk up tenn ending to crowton. you think miles is subbing 3 WR's in 1st and goal??????? i never understood people that thought miles did that. it happened under his watch though. crowton needs to be gone.

I think he predicted a different W-L number which would lead to the change. Mettenberger coming in is also different.
He has consistently said Saban is the best coach in college football (I think thats near unanimous and anyone who denies it is butt sore) and that Miles is not near as bad or as good as LSU fans tend to make him out to be. He has consistently rapped Miles for his time bungles and has praised him for other things (like winning). I think GG's biggest fault is that like almost every reporter he likes to be contrarian to be able to say "I told you so".

I think it's hilarious how some people still think that Saban is the best coach in college football. These people are really drinking the Saban Kool-Aid. People still fail to realize that with the exception of the NC season he had at least 3 losses every other season at LSU. And this year he had 3 losses with a team picked in the pre-season to repeat as the NC. Definitely an underachieving team. Good coach? Definitely. Great coach? Maybe. The best in college football? Give me a f'in break. The only people who are butt sore are the ones who still bend over every time the Saban name is mentioned.

No one knows what is going on in Mile's head, sometimes not even Miles. I doubt he has given it much thought and I bet his focus is on the game.
