Could this be a courtesy interview for his alma mater and an old friend?

He lied. He did it to OK St too. I thought he was better than that, and so did some of the players.

Pretty f-ed up if he did lie. I know people do it all the time, but his players would run through a minefield blindfolded for him. You don't lie like that to people who are that close to you.

He said he has not been contacted and that he loves LSU. He was not lying. He even said that he would be the head coach at LSU 'until further notice' and that he would be forthcoming with everything that was going on.

He's doing it the right way.

He didn't lie.

His players just don't understand Miles-ese as a well as the rest of us do. JJ doesn't understand it at all.

He just said he has a want and a desire to be at LSU and he loves it here.

But if/when Michigan makes him an offer he can't refuse...

He didn't say what you thought he said. I tried to tell you that yesterday. He just told them that michigan hadn't talked to him yet, but he was happy at lsu and would keep them informed

What is he supposed to say after a big, good win like they had? "I'm gone guys, sorry." He said it perfectly, using "until further notice", and he wanted the morale of the team to stay high.

I think the way he did it was the best way to handle that situation
