Then Alleva and Orgeron should be shown the door immediately afterward. As HEAD COACH at USC he couldn't make it to practices
quote:

Southern California fired its football coach, Steve Sarkisian, on Monday, one day after Athletic Director Pat Haden announced that Sarkisian would take a leave of absence after he failed to show up for a practice.

quote:

Haden said in a brief news conference that during a phone call with Sarkisian earlier in the day, “it was very clear” that Sarkisian was “not healthy.”

If Saban has moved in a different direction after bringing Sark in specifically to replace Kiffin, then we all know the reason

Some people just cant overcome the need

From my very reliable Bama sauce. Kevin Wilson (fired Indiana HC) to bama as OC

Just like Jimbo to LSU?
Just like Herman to LSU?
Just like Kiffin to LSU?

bama seems to be the place for rehabbing good coaches back into the HC community.

wilson will fit in perfectly there.

Probably but it's shocking he'd get a gig this soon. It took Mangino 4 years to even get a gig at Youngstown State. Though I realize his was more about language and racial barbs.

Allegations about damaging player safety are not welcome in this era. They will take a lot of shite for it publicly.

Please no. Sark needs to be in a 12 step program not an OC office. Him and Orgeron back together is a recipe for disaster. Sark is not in any kind of shape to have that kind of responsibility. I feel for him, but putting him in the pressure cooker of an OC job at an upper tier P5 school might literally kill him.

We need Major Applewhite......

Well, it seems like ole Sark would have been out pounding the pavement, unless he thought he had a job already locked in

And if that job suddenly wasn't 'locked in', there would have to be a pretty big reason why, for Sark not to be looking at other options?

I mean, maybe that is what happened.

But I can sit here and think of a thousand other things that have happened.

Maybe he doesn't like it there and Orgeron offers him more money.

Maybe him and Saban had it out.

Maybe he wants to prove himself in a tougher job at LSU.

Maybe Saban doesn't like his style of offense.

I don't think it's safe to jump to conclusions.

With that said, I do think LSU needs to do background work, make sure he's fully recovered, and make sure he has all resources necessary to keep him clean if he is offered the job.
