For those of you who want to keep Coach O

What happens after next season when Etling and Harris are both gone, LF7 gone, Dupre Gone, Guice Gone, all the major skill position players gone?
I just don't trust his ability to evaluate offensive talent and develop players. He needs to prove himself at another school, assembling a staff, and running a program with his own system in place. It's easy to take over and win with someone else's talent. Look what Les did with Flynn and Jamarcus.
It sucks I know. I want him to be the guy. Big cajun goofball, who busts tail recruiting. He just isn't though. I hope they can convince him to stay. Who wouldn't want 1 Mill to be a position coach and have no pressure.

Both are juniors
Any ways I'm against hiring another lineman HC
They will always be dependent on the right coordinator hires and that's much more of a gamble
Please just hire a Fisher or Herman because LSU has succcess attracting elite DCs much easier
I think any avg coach can have success at established LSU just as Miles and O have shown but an elite x and o mastermind can take us to elite levels

If the top guys are off the board then LSU has no choice but to retain Coach O. He has proven he can manage talent and get the team up to play. You forget about the kid from Miss that we will have the next 3 to 4 years at QB. Coach O will get the talent. If you hire the right people the players will get developed. See our defensive coord for developing talent. The same could be done with the right offensive coord hire. LSU talent will always be there it will just be the next man up type thing. I have a feeling the top guys will be off the board but im ok with O as the coach if he gets the right OC and keeps Arnada signed for another year or two.

Texas will give herman 6 million a year
FSU will give Fisher a raise to keep him.
Dont think anyone else will be able to keep this recruiting class unless its Coach O( if he wins out).
