sorry, I knew they had confirmed through UF and LSU sources but did not know it was first reported on UF's site. Once again, my apologies and my panties are now unwadded

While I sure don't know what is going on, I really think getting Tyke would be a great fit for LSU since he is an Alum.
The stuff I read was like maybe Guilbeau stating something like "Nothing official about Tolbert can be announced until after Buffalo finishes the season."
Who coaches what when is the big question.
Why would BG leave Florida? Well, if I'm BG, and I've been with UM all those years through thick and thin and then when the OC job becomes available after Mullen leaves and UM hires somebody else...well, that tells me I ain't going no where with my buddy and old pal stab me in the back UM. So nothing available until now, and boom BG is outta there.
If UM is surprised about it,he should be. Imagine how surprised BG was when he did not get the OC job at Florida when Mullen left. Pay back is a, well you know the rest.

Thanks SLR, but Chicken's dead on with this one. Our Florida Scout site talked with the folks in the know, they called us to see what we could dig up, and of course, to pass the info along.

The only way I see the Kragthorpe hire as attractive to Miles is because hes a proven QB coach to go with his OC ability. Which LSU DESPERATELY needs. I think LSU needs to let someone else go and get a dedicated QB coach(like Kragthorpe) and get a better OC hire. Wouldn't hurt my feelings at all to see someone like Yano gone for a QB coach slot. Miles has NFL experience coaching TEs...or he can give Gonzales TE/WR coach role...

I can't remember the exact quote Egg being my days have beat me down mentally like the step child who lives in the downstairs closet. I do however recall being taken aback by him specifically naming Aleva in a spot when they throw the obligatory "source" in. It had something to do with the staff IIRC
