They may as well accept it.

Chuck Oliver said Kiffin "Played footsies with UF and then ghosted them-which was more than what Auburn got; they couldn't get him to return their call."

hey man, whatever helps them sleep at night...

i can understand Ole Miss, with their anger and frustration, saying shite like "we didn't want him anyway"... it's the whole jilted lover aspect... but i really don't understand what Florida fans get out of "he really wanted to be here, but...."

like what sort of moral victory are the really looking for when they clearly finished a distant 3rd in the Lane sweepstakes? it's really dumbfounding, IMO...

After what has transpired, I am just glad we dodged that bullet. Have fun with the drama queen until he leaves in a couple years for the next shiny object. The man has no loyalty to anyone but himself.

The coping and wishcasting from other fanbases over the last few days has been delicious.

Lane just spent 6 years in Oxford, and made a point in his press conference to mention that he's the same age as Carroll when he got to USC, and Saban was only a few years older when he got to Bama.

But keep telling yourself he went through the hell of the last week just to leave in a couple of years.

CBSSports had an article about the process. Says that Sticklin in his first talkings with Lane before LSU pursued him, told Lane that they wanted to hire a former nfl GM to run the NIL part of the team and player "acquisition"

Can't imagine Lane would pick that when LSU And Verge just go "fricking Win Lane, we got your back"
