The news in Lafayette is 3 days late on everything sports related. It was Jay Walker's show, and BJ Thompson, the main guy for our Scout.com page said he has confirmed these 4 guys are set to interview.

ULL should do everything they can to get Hudspeth. Let Arkansas State hire Crowton. He can go there and hang out with John Brady. That's a win for LSU, ULL, and Crowton.

Crowton doesn't fit the direction our athletic department is heading in.
We want fiery coaches who have something to prove and have won at high levels in the past.
Crowton's resume is the most impressive, but Hudspeth fits the "mold" of what looks to be what Scott Farmer is looking to bring to UL.
Fiery guys who have a track record of building programs...Hudspeth is that guy.
I'd be shocked if he wasn't the first guy to get offered.
ETA: For the "blueprint", look at the Bob Marlin hire.

Yeah, apparently had no legs. Hudspeth has been my number 1 for like two months.
