Fitting that Belichick steps down one day after Saban

These two have been tied together since their days at Cleveland. Each went on to win SIX titles with their final teams (assuming Belichick doesn't go somewhere else).
For comparison, the greatest coaches in the NFL are generally considered to be Paul Brown (fitting that Belichick and Saban came together at the team named after him) and Vince Lombardi. Belichick won more titles than either of them.
For comparison, Bear Bryant is considered the greatest coach in college football history. Nick Saban won the same number of titles as Bryant at Alabama with seven less seasons to do it. He won more titles than Bryant did overall.
And both retired within one day of each other.

I can already see it happening. Bill goes to pick up where his old buddy Nick left off with his favorite quarterback in tow for his last year of eligibility

That’s the only sure possible outcome of all of this. It’s so obvious.
