ESPN and rest of media are enjoying themselves today

and looking forward to the cajun version of the Mad Hatter to make fun of for the next few years.

Saddest part to me is that it SEEMS that the LSU coaching position is always talked about as one of the top 5 places in the country, yet when it comes down to it, we can't get the best of the best to come as Bama, Michigan, Ohio State, etc. do. Of course I don't know what's being asked for monetarily by these top candidates as opposed to what LSU is offering, so it could be that we're just not willing to pay top dollar like the other programs are.

I do think Orgeron has as much or more desire to succeed as LSU's coach as anyone out there, and I truly believe it is his dream job which I can't say for any top coaches out there. He is a great recruiter and motivator, so if he can get a really good modern, innovative OC, we should be ok.
