I know he was a defensive backs coach for his career, so does the loss of Corey make him a more likely candidate?

Don’t hate the idea. Was a respected DB coach before coming here. Will be surprised if he’s DC though.

If anything, it makes it less likely. We need a real DC.

So you think if LSU hires a new dc the ex Minnesota Vikings db coach taking over our secondary is a bad idea if he would accept that? Wtf.

OP is talking about Jones being retained as DC, not taking over as CB coach.
