that perhaps the reason miles is saying how much he loves UM and is trying to be the object of their affection is to stick it to Carr? If Carr is working overtime to fight the Miles to UM camp and the national media is still reporting rumors of Miles being their guy, doesnt that twist the knife in Carr just a bit? especially if miles really does have NO intentions of leaving LSU and he does "aid UM in their coaching search."
All Miles has to do now is stay quiet about LSU and sing his songs of love for UM and he wins, while Carr looks like a bitter old man that is actually hurting the UM coaching search.
and for his reward, Miles gets a chance at a BCSNC, a chance to whack the suckeyes and the adoration of the UM Nation. Not bad if you think about it.

Never thought about it, but you may have a point.

I shared the same thoughts with some coworkers last week and I 100% believe it. I've even used the same tactics myself (on a much smaller scale of course).
Come to think of it, I've also gambled on some improbable outcomes and came out looking like a master tactician despite having much less foresight than folks gave me credit for - after the fact. I guess that's what I like about Miles.
