I’ve said all day I don’t expect an answer until tomorrow morning
I’m not impatient at all. But 2 hours to report the meeting is over is a looong time in these scenarios. I’ve been through this coaching change carousel enough times to know what to expect and what not to expect.

But imagine if they let him continue coaching and they win a game or two or heaven forbid they win the whole damn thing. Do you think he still leaves after that?

yes, i do...

My point is that the longer this goes on and they keep winning, the harder it's going to be for him to walk away.

not really... if they did the improbable, and won the NC, it actually makes it easier, for both parties, to be rid of each other, as clean, and nice, and happy as possilble... OM is happy b/c they just won a NC, Lane b/c he walks away a winner... both smelling like a rose

and look, i get it... as an LSU fan, we've seen our fair share of shitty things happen during coaching searches, so i get the PTSD, but something feels really different about this one... can't quite put my finger on it, but it just does
