What does everyone thing about getting Corey R to be D coordinator? I think its a good hire but im on the fence with him not being a full time D# coordinator ever before??? WHO DO YOU GUYS THINK? IT HAS TO BE A MAJOR MOVE????

I think it’s very very unlikely that O will hire Raymond for the position when he could be fired with another bad year. He’s not going to hitch his wagon to an inexperienced DC, even if he likes Raymond.

I love Raymond but Ed O shouldn’t risk hiring someone who’s never been a DC before. He can’t afford to miss again or he’ll be out of Baton Rouge.

I’d listen to Raymond about his plans on running a defense and go from there. He deserve a look at.

Raymond wont be the choice. I like CR right where he is. Thats his niche. Hopefully hes content with his position, but if not I think he needs to make his name somewhere that expects less than LSU.

Its crazy that we are even discussing firing O. If this was a normal year he would have had 3 rent a wins and been 8 and 5.

Thats not actually true @Chalkywhite84 year before last he interviewed for the DC job at Georgia but eventually decide to go back to LSU after a pay raise and getting the Recruiting Coordinator job.
