LSU like a bad child always seems to do best with hard arse no nonsense discpline coaches like Arnsperger and Saban in the long run. Not really Miles style. We need someone to be the hard arse, the bad cop, and the emotional guy to balance the whole thing out in my opinion. We need the Hammer.

He is a fiery mfer, but still kinda a players coach. We need a guy like a college version of Ditka, or Tom Coughlin or Bill Belichick.

Case in point: Jim Tressel, Joe Pa, etc.

Just because a guy screams and hollers doesn't mean he is a great coach either.

Case in point: Curly Hallman.

Are you calling the man who let his prized RB commit felonies and take money while playing football, whose Heisman QB take money from a booster, who's QB at Youngstown to a few thousand from a booster friend of Tressel who ended up in Federal Prison, had another player get DUI's, his kicker arrested for drug trafficking and two players bustd for solisiting prostitutes a disciplinarian???
