Both of those speaks to his ability to be a DC, which I have doubt about.
I have no idea how good of a recruiter he is, his ability to handle the media, boosters and all the external shite that goes with being a HC in the SEC, his ability to assemble and lead a team of coaches. It's all an unkown, many a great "football mind" have failed at being HC.

Which is why I said, he has the "mind," "upside," and "potential" to get consideration for the job.
