Daronta Jones!!!

Some of the game plans Daronte has fielded this year, at least for first halves have been stellar. The Mississippi state game was a borderline troll at Leaches stubbornness not to run. Florida was another amazing game plan. We had Auburn on the ropes. The problem seems to always be that he lacked that halftime wrinkle/adjustments and Mullen, Leach, Bo Nix eventually got it going.

That being said it’s clear the ability is there and whether here or elsewhere he’s earned the chance in my eyes to see if what he’s clearly learned with the complete games against Bama and Arky are him making that next step.

He played 2 mediocre offenses. He got motorboated by a good offense with Kiffin. He can't make halftime adjustments. It's either all in and works or he gets motorboated. LSU is not the place a young coach can learn and grow. No. He can do it elsewhere.
