Hey dickfore, your coach is an a-hole that few want to work for and even fewer want to hire. He reached out to PSU 2 wks ago and was ignored for a wk. they were turned down for a 3rd time by a 3rd candidate last thursday. Then they began conversations with Mullen.
that is how it went down. A friend is a sports agent and represents a coach in the know about Mullen (a guy who Dan asked if he would join his staff if he were to get the PSU job...he said no thanks).
I could not care less if you believe it or not. I dont expect you to allow yourself to believe it, though. You are a State fan. You worship - for some unknown reason - a guy who is 3-12 against the SEC west. Your grasp on reality isnt exactly solid.

You realize that report was five hours old and already pulled from all our local newspapers and tv stations. The ABC affiliate in Jackson made the mistake of reporting this around 5:30 and all the powers that be at State came down very hard on them, enough for them to print a retraction.

they didn't report anything so they don't have to retract anything...the jackson news station did. and it's impossible for that report to have been true considering Mullen has been with our AD in Jackson. you're better than that.
