He said it would happen Wednesday before all the Herman stuff started leaking, and everyone thought Jimbo was all but locked up. The way it went down last year left a bad taste in a lot of peoples' mouths. By all accounts, LSU made an offer that would make Jimbo the third highest paid coach in CFB. Almost $2 million more than he makes now. Plus a $300k tax allowance. Yet people still believe he turned LSU down...
