Could Spurrier and Crowton co-exist?

Obviously this is a hypothetical, but if Miles leaves and Spurrier is his successor, would that automatically mean Crowton would go?
My gut tells me that Spurrier would take full control of the offense. But if he and Crowton could work together somehow, our offensive schemes would (most likely) be incredible.
Thoughts?

What is the relationship between Spurrier and his current OC. That would give us a clue

if spurrier is in, crowton is out. if not this year then the next.
suprrier just needs a trained monkey to sit up in the box and make go-go ga-ga noises to him in his headset.
one rumor was miles actually taking crowton with him to michigan so who knows.

no idea. But I would think Crowton would be near the top of premier OCs in the country. I'm guessing USCe's guy isn't.

Thought everybody knew this: Spurrier IS his own offensive coordinator, calls his own plays, will never change in that regard.
And he'll be calling them at South Carolina again next season.

He calls all the plays at SC. They don't even have an offensive coordinator.

That's been the case for a long time. But Steve is getting a bit older...would he be willing to let a respected guy like Crowton take a bit of the OC responsibility?

I'd imagine UM wants crowton with Les. Debord is pretty hated up there

it will cost them even more. all of carr's assistants are contracted through next year. carr protected his peeps. gotta love it.
michigan will be putting alotta money out there for a coach, although successful in taking over a top program, has not rebuilt one and an OC who worked with him for just one year.
