So, in your own words, Fayetteville > Madison?

ETA: Your explanation actually makes sense, so ignore my "insult" which was posted before reading the in-depth explanation.

It's still almost unfathomable to me that a community not embrace a coach's wife knowing the effect that she was going to have going forward. It should have been a clean slate for Bert -- and certainly for her.

Alvarez has hired smartly twice now. He's got that going for him. Maybe he can do it again? All that to say, it's still never a clean slate for a coach at Wisky, and I wouldn't be surprised if more autonomy from Alvarez is a hanging point in the negotiations with the next coach if you don't snag another LO5 guy.

I'm shocked Mullens is still at MSU. I thought this guy would have his choice of coaching offers this year.

Playing Devils advocate
How come it's ok for Gary Andersen to want to leave for a less stressful job due to health concerns but not ok for Urban Meyer ?

When the hell did UW-Madison become a school were you throw a resume on someone's desk and your hired ? I didn't realize that school was on the same level as Stanford or Oxford.

How come Ohio St., U of I under Zook , Michiganand now Minnesota can get a great deal of warm weather players to there freezing campus but uw-madison can't ?

You guys are turning into Michigan with your delusion and arrogance. You can't claim to be a national power and make excuses how your held to a higher standard that gives you a handicap on winning.

The fact that you think it is normal for a coach to have to leave to choose his own offense says more than anything else. Barry Alvarez is not letting people do their jobs and should either just coach himself or step down. And by the way Meyer and Mullin are "Utah" guys and have managed to exist outside of that state. Besides which there is not much to "get" about Wisconsin.
when you can't even get basic facts correct it is hard to take you seriously. CGA is from the west. Urban was born in Ohio. Played high school ball in ohio. Played college ball in ohio. He spent two years at Utah. FAIL

Mullen was born on the sat coast and played college ball in Penn. He was at Utah for a blip.

You should keep quiet and be thought a fool than post and confirm it.

Lastly, CGA was able to run his own offense. You are just failing miserably.

You aren't playing devils advocate. You are just dumb. There are so many errors that it makes it hard to begin. But, when you compare recruiting at dOSU to UW it tells me that it really isn't worth my time to help you out.
