I know you can't trade personnel in college sports but could UT officials tell Houston that they are likely to block their conference entry unless a gesture is made (give us Herman) that opens the Houston recruiting market to UT?

I don't know which job is better but if Herman cares for the future of UH the above scenario would make it difficult from him to choose us.

they still have to get accepted by OU. And if OU got wind of that, it would be the end of the BIG12.

They would have to be very, very careful.

Honestly?

If Strong gets fired this would be a back door discussion to reverse the no vote

I am sure of it

Not sure that Texas needs to give anything up at all to get Herman. if they want him, they can take him. Doesn't seem like UH has any leverage to make this demand, other than maybe a buyout.

Impossible. It could never happen.
