Good luck to this guy. He was assistant OL coach and head wrestling coach. I follow D2 Football, and Shorter is just awful. They haven’t won a game since 2015. Article says there were 125 applications... Good luck fella, you’re gonna need it.

I follow D2 and haven’t heard of Shorter. The GSC is a gauntlet though and I assume they’re new since they weren’t there when the split happened with the Arkansas schools
He has a long road ahead of him

They were a NAIA powerhouse, joined D2 officially in 2013. They ran the flexbone like Georgia Tech. Went 6-5 one year in the GSC, then hit a skid. They made a coaching change and the new coach tried to transition Shorter from a option team to a spread team, resulting in that coach going winless in ‘16 and ‘17.

I know this will sound lame, but I just spent like 30 min poking around the Shorter University website and really wishing I was back in college. Im really not enjoying working and adult life, and I dont even have any responsibilities.
