This is from April of this year

Retired CFB HC Chris Petersen joined
@BrockHuard
&

for an hour this week.

One moment that stuck out was how a book helped in his decision process to retire from college football.

One thing about him I find funny is that there are two rumors, both seemingly unsubstantiated, about his personal beliefs: that he’s a Scientologist or an atheist (I guess you can be both?)
It doesn’t matter but it’s intriguing.

Petersen had some excellent seasons, but he did not sustain/reload the Washington program. I'm thinking he's not such a great recruiter. We need a clone of Nick Saban. Granted, that does not exist.

I've also heard that he's a Mormon, but I don't know if that's true or not

I'm not high on Petersen. I think he's a coaching burnout

Then I saw someone say he’s Catholic.

What if he goes a different church every Sunday and has copies of Dianetics and God Delusion in his office just to screw with people?

He is about 50 miles west of Baton Rouge. Can’t believe people do not think of him as an elite coach.

Maybe Xenu won’t let him stick with one quarterback.
