The fact that Mack equates taking a nice cozy recruiting trip to Florida with "killing myself" explains a lot about the state of the UT program.

When LSU fired Mike Archer, he found out from a local news reporter after practice. While on camera, they asked him about his firing.
All I'm saying, is that getting quotes from Mack Brown means nothing at this point. Dude isn't even in town to get fired. Just wait until he gets back home.

If UT hires Muschamp after this season, the meltdown in Austin might eclipse the meltdown in Tuscaloosa if Saban left.

Mack agreed to step aside yesterday. Patterson told him to step down or he would be fired. Sexton has already be contacted about Saban. Things could happen quickly now that Mack is out the way.
